After reading an amazing book and spending some time thinking about what I want to change in myself, realize that it's simply restarting to be who I always wanted to be. To help others and make them feel great. I've never started out with the desire to hurt someone. Little by little I start allowing myself to think less of others and more about myself. This in turn allows me to be insensitive to the people I care about. No bueno. The other day I saw a lady trying to push her broken down car out of the road with no success. I chose to park and go help her. I had the choice to continue on my way with my errands, but in choosing to assist another person I found joy. This is the way I plan to be true to myself. To treat people as people.
I realized in reading this book that I have not been treating people around me as people, but instead as things to help me get "something". I'm not proud of that, but at the same time I'm happy I have realized this so I can make a change in the way I treat and interact with others. Being able to consistently see people as just that -people, is the only way I can make a difference and build others up.

My ride
So I just had the opportunity to hit up Whistler with some friends had a blast! Over the weekend we decided to take my car to the village to avoid waiting for the bus. It was snowing a ton and by the time the night ended, it was getting pretty bad. With 9 of us piled in the Vibe we made our way back to Greystone Lodge. Sliding and slipping a little here and there we finally arrived to discover the garage entrance barracaded with a foot of snow barrier blocking the entrance. As we looked to find the best way in, we chose to back it up, gain some speed and just rally over it and into the garage. Rater did just fine and managed the piled up snow like a champ. Rater has become Mr Reliable over the last few years and I felt a shout out was in demand. So here's to Rater (My Vibe)!!!
